The flat freight wagon series Rns is designed for transportation of long loads, rolled-steel sections, rolling stock, sawn timber and other weather-resistant cargo.

The wagon floor is covered with 7 cm thick softwood and equipped with 16 swivelling stanchions, 20 foldable lashing devices hidden in the floor and 2 foldable end flaps. The construction of the 4-axle freight wagon Rns also allows to be covered with 16 additional floor flaps (2×8) to facilitate the handling. The wagon is equipped with automatic pneumatic brake type KE-GP-A 12″ and with a hand- operated parking brake.
